IPSWICH paramedics channelled the 80s movie classic Top Gun for Movember, replicating the iconic look including the marvellous mos.

Donning their aviator look, the ambos have cut impressive figures in Movember.

Eighteen paramedics have put the razors away for the month, raising more than $1200 so far.

But Aiden Gielis hopes that total will tip the $1500 mark by the end of the month. He is less confident on whether the mos will last into December.

"I usually have a full beard so if anything it's annoying doing the whole shaving thing," he said. The unique look turned a few heads as the paramedics arrived at jobs this month.

"We've had the aviators on, getting to the jobs together and having a few laughs. Sometimes they got laughs out of others."
