Million Android devices hacked

A HACKING attack has breached the security of more than a million Google accounts around the world and is estimated to be infecting an additional 13,000 devices each day. Dubbed Gooligan, the hack allows access to the email, photos and documents from infected accounts. Global IT security company Check Point said breaches occurred when users downloaded and installed an infected app on a vulnerable Android device. Google has tightened security and is urging Android users to download apps from Google Play rather than unknown sources.
