Men caught with stolen wiring, cable

LAIDLEY police have charged two men after catching them with wiring and electrical cable that were allegedly stolen from an Ipswich business.

Officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Jim McDonald said police stopped the 25-year-old man and 31-year-old man in a car at Laidley about 6am on Saturday.

The older man was charged with possessing tainted property, and the younger man was charged with burglary offences.
