Medieval banquet spreads merriment

A MEDIEVAL themed banquet will be held in Ipswich this Saturday night as part of the Ipswich Multicultural Project's international cafe series.

The Masonic Centre will be dressed up as the ruins of Camelot and guests will be able to experience the excitement of medieval dance and living.

Organiser Hedy Keogh encouraged people to dress up and enjoy the three-course banquet and entertainment.

"The hall should look great and lots of people who have bought tickets are dressing up, which will be wonderful," she said.

The festival starts at 6.45pm at the Masonic Centre on the corner of Roderick and Nicholas Sts, Ipswich.

Tickets cost $30. Phone 0414 703 842 or visit www.impnet.com.au for more details.
