
Man charged over 2012 death of Jason Garrels in Clermont
QUEENSLAND Police have charged a man with manslaughter after an electrocution death at a Clermont work site in 2012.
Police investigating the incident allege about 9.45am on February 27, 2012 that 20-year-old Clermont man Jason Garrels was electrocuted at a building site at McDonald Flat Rd.
He was transported to Clermont Hospital where he died of his injuries.
On Thursday detectives charged 29-year-old Nathan Day from Caboolture with manslaughter.
He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on July 21.
