Man's arm partially amputated in circular-saw accident

A 37-YEAR-OLD Biggenden man was transported to Royal Brisbane Hospital after partially amputating his arm in a circular-saw accident.

A Queensland Ambulance Services spokesman said paramedics responded to the incident at 4.15pm Wednesday.

He said the man was cutting a large slab of timber when the saw slipped and cut the man's left forearm to the bone.

The patient was transported to Brisbane via the RACQ CareFlight Chopper; he travelled in a stable condition.
