Man who led police on chase in court

A COOMINYA man who led police on a wild chase across the region days before Christmas has had his matter mentioned briefly in court.

Robert Scott Norford, 32, is facing 39 offences stemming from the incident on December 19, 2015 including dangerous operation, drink driving, unlicensed driving, trespass and wilful damage.

He was also charged with unrelated offences including trespass, break and enter and drug charges.

The matter was adjourned until February 24.
