Man crushed by car jacks up vehicle while underneath

12:25pm: A MAN who called emergency services for help when a car he was working on fell on him and trapped him has managed to set himself free.

Emergency services were called to a Farnborough residence about noon today with the caller stating he had been trapped for 15 minutes.

Reports indicate the 58-year-old male had become trapped by the leg when the car fell.

It is believed he managed to jack the car back up off his leg before Queensland Ambulance officers arrived to his Howes Rd address.

12.05pm:  EMERGENCY services are responding to a man trapped under a car at Farnborough.

Reports indicated the 58-year-old male was working on the car when it came down and trapped him, 15 minutes ago.

The incident occurred at a residence off Farnborough Rd.
