Man suffers burns in barbecue explosion

A man is recovering in hospital after a barbeque explosion at Tivoli last night.

Queensland Ambulance Service report that the incident occurred at about 7:25pm.

Paramedics attending the scene at a private residence treated a 48-year-old for burns to his chest and arms.

He was later taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital in a stable condition.
