Man stole from aunt and pawned items to pay off a debt
AN IPSWICH man has pleaded guilty to stealing valuables from family members and pawning them.
At Ipswich Magistrates Court this week, prosecutor senior constable Chris O'Neill told the court on May 8 and June 10 Peter Guest had pawned $80 of stolen goods to pay off a debt.
The items, which belonged to his aunt, included DVD's, X-Box games and toys.
Guest was convicted and fined $400 and ordered to pay restitution of $80.
