Man charged over pub death

POLICE have charged a 26-year-old man after the death of a man at a Gatton hotel overnight. 

Initial investigations indicate that there was a disturbance at the hotel on Railway Street around 11pm.

A 46-year-old man from The Gap in Brisbane died as a result of the alleged incident.

The 26-year-old Bribie Island man has been charged with murder and is due to face Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Monday October 31.
 

Man killed after pub fight

A MAN has been killed following a fight in a Gatton hotel last night.

At around 11pm police were called to an incident at the Imperial Hotel involving two patrons.

One of the men involved in the fight died, however, police have not yet determined the cause.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident with CCTV footage being reviewed.
