Man injured in caravan mishap

AN IPSWICH man was treated for injuries sustained in an accident that occurred while he was trying to hook up his caravan.

Emergency services were called to Edinburgh St, Eastern Heights, just after 8am Sunday, following reports a man had his leg run over.

An ambulance spokeswoman said it appeared as though the man had been hooking up a caravan when the vehicle began to roll.

The man was injured as he tried to stop the car.

Fortunately, he did not appear to have sustained any serious injuries.

He was taken to Ipswich Hospital.
