Man hospitalised after violent stick attack at Caboolture

POLICE are investigating the assault and robbery of a man at a Caboolture home last night.

About 8.10pm, two men forced their way into a house on Kalunda Ct armed with a wooden stick and a knife.

A 27-year-old man was assaulted and struck with the wooden stick before having his car keys stolen.

The two men then demanded to know the location of the injured man's car, before stealing it from Gizelle St and fleeing the scene.

The 27-year-old man was transported to Caboolture Hospital with bruising, bleeding, abrasions and welts to his body.

Investigations will continue today.
