Man grabs cash in armed robbery at Manoora

POLICE are investigating following the armed robbery of a takeaway store in Manoora.

Just after 1.45pm a man armed with a gun entered the Pease Street store and threatened the male shop assistance before making demands for cash.

The store attendant complied and the man left the store with a sum of cash.

The shop assistant was not physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as being aged in his 30's, Caucasian in appearance and 175cm tall.

Investigations are continuing.
