"Intoxicated and aggressive" man fined after filming police

A MAN who attempted to film police when they asked him to "move on" has been charged with disobeying a police direction.

Shannon Green pleaded guilty to the offence in Ipswich Magistrates Court.

The 28-year-old had been out in Airlie Beach when he was approached by officers in regards to his "intoxicated and aggressive" behaviour.

When police asked Green to move on, he argued with them and refused. As a consequence he was taken to the watchhouse.

Green told the court he had not tried to fight anyone and that he was on his way home.

He was fined $200. No conviction was recorded.
