Man dies after Gatton crash

A MAN has died in hospital from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle crash at Gatton last week.

The 20-year-old was a rear passenger in a vehicle which smashed into a drainage culvert and rolled after veering off the Warrego Highway about 1.20am on January 20.

Police said the man was critically injured after being thrown from the vehicle.

He was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he died last night.

A 30-year-old female passenger was also injured and was taken to Toowoomba Base Hospital.

The 26-year-old male driver was not injured.

Police are still investigating the smash.
