Man charged with murder for Logan stabbing
A 34-year-old man has now been charged murder following the stabbing death of a 27-year-old on Tuesday in Logan, south of Brisbane.
The Woodridge man is to face Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning.
A silver Honda Accord also sought by police has now been recovered.
Man wanted after Logan stabbing arrested by police
POLICE have arrested a 34-year-old this morning, less than a day after a 27-year-old was stabbed to death in Logan.
Following the stabbing, police released images of John Zarnke and the allegedly stolen car he was driving.
Police wanted to question Mr Zarnke is relation to the death.
Just before midnight on Tuesday, police arrested a man who was sitting in an apparently stolen Ford Falcon sedan.
Police are still searching for the stolen, grey 2012 Honda Accord, pictured below.
Police release image of man in Logan death hunt
POLICE investigating the death of a man in Logan this morning are appealing for public assistance to locate a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
Police were called to Golden Street around 4am following a disturbance.
A 27-year-old man was located at the scene and was later pronounced deceased.
Police are seeking a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
John Zarnke is described as being Caucasian in appearance, 34-years-old, around 182cms tall of a slim build with brown hair and multiple tattoos.
He was believed to be in a 2002 Red Holden Commodore ute which was found earlier today in Woodridge.
Mr Zarnke was last seen in the Clem 7 tunnel northbound in a grey 2012 Honda Accord with Queensland registration 708 SLR, similar to the car pictured below.
Police are urging members of the public to not approach the man and to contact them immediately if they see him or the vehicle.

Knife-wielding killer fled in ute like this
POLICE are hunting for a 2012 Holden Ute in red, with the number plate 529-VAC, in relation to the fatal stabbing of a 27-year-old man in Logan killed outside his home this morning.
The man is believed to have been attacked at 3.45am in Golden Street at Logan Central, later dying from his wounds.
Paramedics could not revive him.
Police believe the male attacker fled on foot down nearby Cohen St.
Officers have learned from witnesses that a car might have been started nearby.
They are warning the public not to approach the red ute if spotted, but to call 000.
"We're also appealing for any witnesses in the vicinity of this area of Golden Street that may have heard anything, an altercation, approximately around that time at 3:45am to contact CrimeStoppers," a spokesman said from the scene.
Man stabbed to death in Logan 'disturbance'
A MAN has been stabbed to death in Logan, with police unable to revive the man before dawn this morning.
Officers were called to Golden Street at Logan Central, a little before 4am.
The young man was found on the side of the road with a knife wound.
Paramedics reportedly tried to revive the man, but could not save his life.
The area has now been deemed a crime scene with detectives and scientific officers now combing the area.
A dog squad has now been brought to the scene in an effort to track his killer.
