Man charged with aiming car at cop

POLICE have charged a man with aiming his vehicle at an officer at Camira on New Year's Day.

The 24-year-old was alleged to have failed to stop his vehicle as directed by police on Lorraine Street, about 1.40pm January 1.

He is accused of then driving at an officer.

He was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, driving while disqualified and failing to stop.

He will appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court on February 2.
