A MAN who fell about two and a half metres onto concrete was airlifted to hospital early this morning by the RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter.

The 24-year-old man suffered suspected head and spinal injuries from the fall, which occurred at a cattle farm property about 15km north west of Lake Atkinson.

He was treated at the scene by CareFlight's critical care doctor and flight paramedic and was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
