Machete wielding man in armed robbery

POLICE have released an image of a man caught on CCTV wiedling a machete while robbing a Wynnum Central cafe this morning. 

About 6am the man entered the cafe called Dramanti Artisan Roaster, on Tingal Rd and demanded money from staff. 

Police say the staff members refused to give them man money but he stole the cash register and ran away,

No one was injured.

It's understood the staff member who was working at the time has returned home for the day. 

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 183cm tall and of a slim build. He was last seen wearing dark clothes with red goggles and white shoes.
