Loyal import repaying Ipswich faith

IPSWICH Force head coach Chris Riches is quick to highlight the value of Kyle Harvey to his team and future development goals.

"Kyle has been a consistent piece of the puzzle for the Ipswich Force for a number of years now,'' Riches said.

"He has demonstrated time and time again that he can meet the demands of the QBL competition.

"Kyle is an outstanding person on and off the court, a great role model of professionalism for the younger players within the QBL program, and the Ipswich basketball community as a whole.''

Riches said Harvey would take on more responsibility this season, using his full range of skills.

"It will be Kyle's experience and maturity that will help us defuse the pressure during each and every game for our young core,'' Riches said, having worked with Harvey previously in his Force assistant coaching role.

"His commitment to the Ipswich community and our team's themes make him the ideal mentor as we look to take ourselves to the next level.

"There are few imports that stay in this competition with the one association for multiple years.

"Kyle repays our faith in him by always being prepared to sacrifice his individual glory to benefit the team as a whole.''
