Loving tributes pour in for French ‘angel’ Alixe Stoffel

LOVING tributes have poured in from all over the globe as the world mourns French backpacker Alixe Stoffel.

Ms Stoffel was killed in an accident after travelling from Gin Gin to Brisbane.

Friends have referred to her as a "fallen angel that was taken long before her time is due".

"Last night I shed a tear and looked blankly at my computer screen for hours," said Matt Tettman, on a tribute page to Alixe.

"I won't ever forget the first time I saw you dancing.

"Instantly your energy told me I had to make friends with you.

"Thank you for being such a bright light in what can be such bleak world."

Majed Alhussaini shared his feelings.

"I don't normally admire someone easily but this girl got into my life smoothly and got me attached to her classic decent life," he said.

"Since I left Australia we never stop talking but now it's time to stop talking but never gonna stop thinking about you Alixe."

Those whose lives were touched by Alixe will attend a special gathering to celebrate her life in Melbourne later this month.
