Little Theatre presents three plays

THERE are three good reasons to head to the Ipswich Little Theatre this week.

The Young Theatricals group will perform the plays Ritual for Dolls, Our Town and Parking Infringements this Friday and Saturday night from 8pm.

Ritual for Dolls director Jan Paterson said a cast of four actors aged between 13 and 17 would play the parts of four dolls abandoned in the attic by their young owners.

“It’s an actor’s piece in the sense that it gives them the chance to explore different characters,” she said.

“Three of the cast have just joined the theatre this year so it will be a fabulous challenge.”

Our Town is a Pulitzer Prize winning play written by Thornton Wilder, set in the American west in the early 1930s.

Parking Infringements looks at what happens when four seemingly innocent characters meet on a park bench.

Tickets are available at the Ipswich Information Centre.
