Life through the Lens: Sitting on the hill in Ipswich

HERE is this week's cover image, as chosen by you, our readers.

Congratulations Dons Show. This photo is of: "Sitting on the hill in Ipswich."

In reply Dons Show wrote:

"Thanks to QT readers and QT for the cover image opportunity - this was taken near Denmark Hill, watching the sunset when I noticed the beautiful reflection on the grass seeds. A bit of rolling in the grass required - the image was taken with my Canon using a Macro lens and is all natural colour, posted on my Instagram page getoutandwalk."

There were more than 30 submissions on our Monday evening post. You can see a selection of some of the more popular pictures below.

Our weekly cover image competition celebrates the beauty of the Ipswich region and the talent of the area's photographers - both professional and amateur.

To submit an image for Photo of the Week, share it to our Facebook page - facebook.com/thequeenslandtimes

To have a say in which image is selected, watch out for our Facebook post every Monday.
