Library on wheels reaches big 40

IPSWICH'S Mobile Library services will mark 40 years in November.

Cr David Pahlke said a special 40th birthday celebration would be staged in Rosewood from 3-4.30pm on November 6 at the Rosewood stop in John Street.

"The birthday party will take the form of a free family-focused event for all members of the community," Cr Pahlke said.

"The afternoon will feature entertainment, children's activities and refreshments and of course birthday cake."
