LETTERS: Send young militant refugees home to fight

WHEN we see the TV commercials put out by the United Nations, regarding refugees, we're shown tragic pictures of young children living in squalor or trudging through desert areas with their mothers.

What we see when we look at news bulletins from Germany, Scandinavia or other European countries, are healthy young male refugees between 20 and 40 years old, rallying, demonstrating violently and making threatening gestures.

If they are against the terrible atrocities being carried out in their own countries, why aren't they back in those countries fighting for their freedom, instead of relying upon the soldiers from European nations fighting for them?

The solution might just be to conscript all these young men and send them "home" to fight.

Whenever I've seen them on the news, they seem willing enough to fight the police in their "adopted" country.
