LETTER: Union campaign in bad taste

TWO days ago I registered on ScamWatch the receiving of two phone calls purporting to be from Centrelink. I thought that it might be for my daughter and on the second call I pressed "1” and was given a number for Centrelink. Through different inquiries I found that this was a scam.

Yesterday, my daughter received a call from 'Leanne' who talked about her father's pension being cut and urging people to fight the Turnbull Government. This week in the Courier Mail I read 'ACTU dials up tension on pension' and believe that the ACTU is behind this $1.5 million campaign. If this is so, I am utterly disgusted.

Surely, in our democratic society we do not have to have such rubbish imparted to us in the sanctity of our own home.
