LETTER: A reflection on Boonah

Picturesque Boonah is a great place to go for a weekend drive.
Picturesque Boonah is a great place to go for a weekend drive.

SOME very kind person put Friday's Queensland Times in my letterbox and I thank you very much.

I very much enjoyed reading about "Spotlight on Boonah" and the mountains, of which I have some lovely framed enlarged photographs.

One shows Middle Mount Alfred - Kilroy's money box, Mount Moon and Little Mount Alfred.

Another shows Moogerah Dam in drought.

I also have a photo of the last train to Boonah taken by Neal Lankowski, who climbed onto the roof of the butter factory, and a photo of old Dugandan bridge.

These photos all hang in my home.

I thought you'd like to know how much I enjoyed reading "Spotlight on Boonah".
