Late summer scorcher on the way to Ipswich

IPSWICH residents are in for a late dose of summer today, with a top of 37 predicted.

South-easterly winds below 10 knots will increase tonight, but daytime temperatures will remain in the 30s over the next week, with little chance of rain.

Overnight temperatures are also showing little sign of dropping off as we head into the first month of autumn, with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting minimum temperatures in the low 20s.
