Last day of fun before going back to school

WHEN Ipswich kids are looking for something different to do during the holidays their first port of call is the Swich On School Holiday program.

Co-ordinated by the Ipswich Community Youth Service, the initiative features a range of activities and entertainment for young people to enjoy.

At the Riverview Neighbourhood House this week, kids had fun "clowning around" as they took part in the Circus Skills workshop.

But the biggest event for youngsters to enjoy is still to come with the return of the popular Rosewood Youth Festival at Tom Lenihan Skate Park tomorrow.

The free festival from 10am-3pm features a massive day of work shops, skating, food and live music from local artists. It will take place at Bennett St, Rosewood.

For more information or to book workshops see: theswich.com or phone 3810 665 or email youth@ipswich.qld.gov.au.
