LETTERS: Large aviary provides a good environment

RE: KEEPING birds caged.

Yes, I agree to a certain point that they should be able to fly freely, but in saying that my husband built us a large aviary and our birds have a lot of flying area.

We weren't forced to buy them, it is just that there are a lot of breeders out there, so do you expect everybody to let their birds out so they can be taken by crows, butcher birds etc.

They are well cared for and much safer in the big aviary.
