Lakeside lifestyle opening up in new housing precinct
A NEW release of 660 blocks at Springfield Lakes will offer lakeside living with access to first class educational and health facilities.
Lendlease's Springfield Lakes has released its new lakeside precinct called The Peninsula.
Located between Regatta Lake and Discovery Lake, The Peninsula has been described as "a unique island-like address" with blocks ranging from 180 square metres to 620 square metres.
Managing director of Lendlease's Communities business in Australia, Matthew Mears, said the increase in sales at Springfield Lakes had driven the new waterside release of The Peninsula, reflecting an increased buyer demand.
He said Springfield Lakes appealed to buyers keen to be close to University of Southern Queensland, Bremer Institute of TAFE and the soon to be opened Mater Private Hospital.
"Residents will also enjoy easy access to five local primary and secondary schools along a network of pedestrian paths, as well as shopping, parks and the new train line and stations at Springfield Lakes and Springfield Central," he said.
"Now more than ever Queenslanders are opting for a social lifestyle that's about convenience - living close to shops, cafes and amenities with everything they need within reach.
"Springfield Lakes is leading the way in master-planned communities, as it offers a place for new residents to belong (and) an excellent opportunity for residents to live, work, learn and play and become part of a community."
Mr Mears said Springfield Lakes boasted more than 60 active community groups and regular free activities within the surrounds and was "a perfect place to call home".
Some of the lots at The Peninsula offer distant mountain, lake and wider Greater Springfield views. There is also easy access to green open spaces, two parks and it is located within close proximity to Discovery Park.
Coles, Target, cinemas and 80 speciality shops will open in late 2015 in Orion Springfield Central and will join existing retailers of Woolworths, Aldi, Big W, Best & Less, BCF, Petbarn, Priceline and other specialty retailers.
The Peninsula is located approximately 30 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD and 17 kilometres from Ipswich CBD.
Springfield Lakes is also conveniently linked to Brisbane's International Airport by the Gateway Motorway and the Gold Coast via the M1.
