Labor MP condemns Queensland Plan as 'propaganda'

IT'S a strong plan for a future plan.

Labor MP Jo-Ann Miller hit out against the government's Queensland Plan announcement on Wednesday, calling it an excuse to use "tax payers' money to promote its own propaganda before the next state election".

Ms Miller said the 30-year blue print, which lays out goals and targets the government has said it will aim to aspire to, was "motherhood statements".

"There were a number of people who participated in the Queensland Plan and I think that many of them would be disappointed because it is a plan of motherhood statements," she said.

"This Queensland Plan is for 2044 but there are many people right across Queensland who are saying: Where is the plan for tomorrow? Where is the plan for six months, the next 12 months and the next couple of years?"
