Knights catching upafter success over UQ

THE Ipswich Knights received a lift for this weekend's Brisbane Premier League catch-up match after overpowering UQ in their latest game.

Although the home side drew level a couple of times on Friday night, Knights coach Stewart Drinkeld was confident his team would seal victory.

The Knights did 4-2.

"We just played very consistently and moved the ball quickly,'' he said.

"I was very happy and pleased with the result.''

The win came without suspended players Devon Munn, Dale Robinson and Ben Hunt.

Drinkeld played a full game for the Knights Reserves who drew 1-1 with UQ.

"It was good for the club championships,'' Drinkeld said. "It keeps us mid-table.''

The Knights play a catch-up match against Capalaba at Bundamba on Sunday afternoon.
