Kimberley adds glam

FORMER Miss Universe Australia Kimberley Busteed will be the star attraction at the fifth annual Recruitment Queensland Ladies Race Day.

The Queensland glamour girl won Miss Australia in 2007 and went on to represent the country in the Miss Universe pageant.

Recruitment Queensland managing director Alison McGrath said she was excited to have the glamorous Channel Seven personality on board.

“Kimberley will be compere on the day and comes very well recommended,” Ms McGrath said.

The race day will be held at the Ipswich Turf Club, Bundamba, on Friday, March 25 from noon.

Ms McGrath said the event aimed to raise valuable funds for the Ipswich Flood Appeal and Ipswich Hospice.

“In years past the race day has been a fabulous day of fun, fashion, live racing, a pamper parlour, fashion parade, hottest heels competition, best-dressed female and the dandiest male competitions,” she said.

“It is a fun day for networking and the opportunity to catch up with friends.”

Tickets are still available and cost $80 for a two-course meal, shared dessert, champagne on arrival and house wine, beer and soft drink and can be booked by phoning 3813 9700 or 3282 1500.
