Kids toying with fun and games

THE Amberley Toy Library store room is like kiddie heaven.

Hundreds of toys are available for hire for children aged from birth to seven years.

Library president Lauren Cochrane said the volunteer-run program started in one mother's home and just grew.

"It's a social outlet and we encourage grandparents to come as well," Ms Cochrane said.

"We're offering free membership until the end of June.

"They're really good quality toys.

"We want to get these toys out there and borrowed.

"Members borrow toys on a fortnightly basis or even longer."

The toy library operates from the Ipswich Region Community Church, 332 Ripley Rd, Flinders View. Phone 0437 882 989 with inquiries.
