Kerb collection for Brisbane Valley after supercell storm

RESIDENTS hit by the storm that swept through Fernvale, Glamorgan Vale and surrounding townships on October 27 can take advantage of Somerset Regional Council's free kerbside collection.

The free kerbside collection will include green waste and storm debris.

Residents need to create two piles, one with green waste and another separate pile for storm debris. Residents are asked to separate any metal items.

Collection will start on November 9.

Residents can also dispose of debris at the Coominya Transfer Station for free until November 8.
