Neuendorf will run for the KAP in the seat of Wright

A FORMER Lockyer Valley councillor and Katter's Australian Party State Government candidate has again put his hand up to run for public office.

Dave Neuendorf will be running for the KAP in the seat of Wright, held by long standing LNP member Scott Buchholz.

His official campaign will be launched on Saturday in Gatton by KAP founder Bob Katter.

Mr Neuendorf said he believed locals were fed up with the two major parties.

""I've lived in this electorate all my life and have a good understanding of what voters in the electorate want," he said.

He said the cost of living and the failing health system were issues most people he talked to were concerned about, and having inactive bank account funds seized by the government.

"Mr Neuendorf ran for the KAP in the State Government election last year, finishing with 23% of the vote, ahead of the Green and ALP candidates but well behind the winner, incumbent LNP member Ian Rickuss.
