Wulkuraka train station closes for upgrades

WULKURAKA train station will close temporarily to allow for vital connection works to the New Generation Rollingstock project as well as a station upgrade.

TransLink Deputy Director General Peter Milward said buses would transfer Wulkuraka customers to Karrabin train station during the closure from first service on September 21 until last service on October 18.

Customers who would normally board a train at Wulkuraka, will catch a bus from Wulkuraka to Karrabin, where they will catch the train. Customers who would normally stop at Wulkuraka, will need to disembark at Karrabin and catch the bus to Wulkuraka.

Extra buses will be available during morning and afternoon peak and trains will run express between Thomas Street and Karrabin stations in both directions.

If you require special access assistance during the work call 13 16 17 or SMS 0428 774 636.
