Join the Walk for Daniel

WEAR something red and join in the fun to help raise awareness at tomorrow's Walk for Daniel.

Katrina Kane from ICYS Ipswich Community Youth Service said the short walk beginning at Ipswich City Mall would be followed by a range of activities.

"This is our fourth year doing the walk," she said.

"It's about keeping our kids safe. After the 10 to 15 minute walk we will have Indigenous dancers, face painters and a place for the kids to write messages in the mall."

The Day for Daniel Walk will be held in the Ipswich City Mall, beginning near the rotunda at 9.30am tomorrow.

Food and merchandise will be available for purchase on the day with all proceeds going towards the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.

Bookings are not essential. Walkers can simply turn up on the day.
