Jo Beth leaves the African jungle with head held high
NOOSA'S Jo Beth Taylor is happy with how she's dealt with the challenges of the South African bush on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
The '90s TV star can't wait to get home to the Coast and feel the sand of Noosa Beach under her feet.
"The first thing I want to do is go for a walk on the beach with my partner and son and puppy dog," she told APN.
"I want to just go and look at the water. Even though we couldn't see much in the camp, it was an amazing opportunity to spend time in that environment but I missed the beach a lot."
The 44-year-old made headlines for her personality clash with former Bachelor contestant Laurina Fleure but said she was proud to have mended fences with the reality TV star.
"I don't normally hang out with people like Laurina, obviously, so it was hard at first," she said.
"I realised hang on a minute this isn't me.
"I went OK I've got to really come to the party and be the person I am on the outside and not be caught up in her drama. That's what I said to myself. I just wanted to get along with everybody."
She formed a close friendship with "The Chief" Paul Harragon and hopes he wins the reality show in Sunday's grand final.
"He's the closest friend I had left in there," she said.
"We got to spend so much time in there together and I just love him so much.
"I hope that he wins; he's certainly my favourite... he's just such a legend."
Taylor tips sportsmen Harragon, Brendan Fevola and Shane Warne to vie for the title, with either Anthony Callea or DJ Havana Brown to be eliminated tonight.
