Ipswich's name and shame: This week's drink and drug drivers

A 21-year-old man was sentenced to jail in Ipswich Magistrates Court after he was caught caught driving having tested positive to an intoxicating substance twice in a week.

Luke Douglas Gentry-Pike, from Brassall, was caught driving dangerously while affected by a drug or alcohol at Brassall on September 23.

Six days later on September 29 he was caught driving while a relevant drug was present in his blood or saliva at Redbank Plains.

Gentry-Pike was sentenced to a head sentence of six months imprisonment with immediate parole and disqualified from holding or obtaining a drivers licence for three years.

JADE Danielle Bagley pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to driving while a relevant drug was present in her blood or saliva at Woodridge on June 12.

The 25-year-old from Wishart was disqualified from holding or obtaining a drivers licence for thee months and sentenced to one month imprisonment.

JEREMY Sean Bryant pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to drink driving at Fortitude Valley on June 12.

The 31-year-old was over the general alcohol limit but not over the middle alcohol limit.

Bryant was given a two month restricted licence and fined $350.

MITCHELL James Spurrier pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to drink driving at Ipswich on October 15.

The 29-year-old Lutwyche man was over the no alcohol limit but not over the general alcohol limit.

He was disqualified from holding or obtaining a drivers licence for three months and fined $400.

CONNOR Glenn Bayliss pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to drink driving at Yamanto on September 28.

The 21-year-old from Wulkuraka was over the no alcohol limit but not over the general alcohol limit.

He was disqualified from holding or obtaining a drivers licence for four months and fined $500.

LEVI James Cullen pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to driving while a relevant drug was present in his blood or saliva at Mount Gravatt on August 1.

The 29-year-old from Silkstone was disqualified from holding or obtaining a drivers licence for one month and fined $600.

CHRISTOPHER James Stewart pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to driving while a relevant drug was present in his blood or saliva at Blackstone on September 15.

Stewart, 32 from Hemmant, was disqualified from holding or obtaining a drivers licence for four months and fined $500.

RAYMOND Frederick Black pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to drink driving at Esk on November 11.

The 50-year-old was over the middle alcohol limit but not over the high alcohol limit.

He was disqualified from holding or obtaining a drivers licence for three months and fined $500.

CANDICE Busittil pleaded guilty in Ipswich Magistrates Court to driving while a relevant drug was present in her blood or saliva at Hatton Vales on September 13.

The 36-year-old woman was disqualified from holding or obtaining a drivers licence for four months and sentenced to 12 months probation.
