Ipswich welcomes huge weekend of rugby league

IN A huge weekend of rugby league in Ipswich the Jets welcome the Central Queensland Capras to the North Ipswich Reserve Saturday afternoon.

The equal second placed Jets should have way too much firepower for the last placed Capras.

But Ipswich will be determined to produce a top effort following the bye, knowing there are tougher challenges to come.

On Sunday league fans have three Ipswich Rugby League A grade games to choose from.

At Swifts' home round at Purga, Brothers forward Troy Sharpe will play his hundredth game for the Brethren.

A grade ladder leaders Norths meanwhile, welcome Goodna to their Pelican Street headquarters while West End plays a rare Sunday afternoon home game, against Fassifern at Basin Pocket.
