Ipswich schools to receive flashing lights

FLASHING lights will be installed at several Ipswich schools as part of the next round of the State Government's program.

Premier Campbell Newman and Transport Minister Scott Emerson yesterday released the next round of flashing school lights to be delivered by mid-2015.

"We promised to roll out this $10 million program of flashing school lights over four years and we are on track to reach that target a year early," Mr Newman said

Silkstone State School, Walloon State School and Tivoli State School are among schools in the region to receive flashing lights as part of the 2014-15 program.
