Ipswich remembers

MORE than 1000 people have attended the Ipswich Anzac Day Dawn Service at the Soldiers Memorial Hall in Nicholas Street in the city centre.

Master of Ceremonies Mr Keith Fraser opened the ceremony before Ipswich RSL Sub-branch President Phil Gilbert spoke to the crowd of the sacrifices made by generations of Australians.

Ipswich RSL youth band member, 15-year-old Bryce Fuery played the last post to a silent audience and Mr Gilbert and Ipswich Mayor Paul Pisasale laid wreaths at the Soldiers honour board.
