Ipswich players brace for state titles test

WESTS A-grade player Mark Sharrad and former representative player Stu Darby are sharing the goalkeeping duties for Ipswich's number one team at the state masters titles.

Sharrad  will miss tomorrow's game returning from an overseas trip.

Phil Daly will guard the net for Ipswich's second side.

The matches are 25 minute halves with a four-minute break.

While he's happy with his number one squad, coach Norm Brown knows there'll be some sore bodies at the end of the championships.

"We have to make sure we make the appropriate changes and try and keep fresh legs,'' Brown said.

The former Norths A-grade manager shared in several premierships with the club. Brown was also involved in the Ipswich over 45 masters team that came third at the 2010 championships on the Sunshine Coast.
