Ipswich Motorway promise a stunt and token commitment

The headlines QT 18/2 would seem to suggest at face value that state Labor is finally going to do something about the Ipswich Motorway upgrade but this is merely a stunt, a token commitment of only 20% of the cost from an empty money box that has been rejected by both Labor and Coalition federal governments.

I would like to hear Labor's Shayne Neumann's acceptance of this offer following his latest of many commitments to complete the motorway.

Shayne, remember in 2007 promising a full upgrade while sharing power for five years with a Labor state government , it was a amazing how quiet the argument was for the upgrade during those years but come election time out comes the same old promise.

But Shayne is aware that Labor voters have very short memories if any at all as he is still there earning the big bucks with no need to deliver.
