Ipswich man one of four charged over armed hold-up

AN IPSWICH man is among four charged with armed robbery, following a hold-up at Forest Lake on Thursday night.

Police said two men entered a store on Joseph Banks Rd about 8.30pm.

One of the men was armed with a knife and threatened the attendant.

The second man then stole cash from the register before both robbers left to a waiting vehicle.

The attendant was not injured during the incident.

A 20-year-old woman from Rocklea, a 19-year-old man from Redbank Plains and an 18-year-old man from NSW have been charged with armed robbery in company and enter premises with intent.

A 19-year-old man from Gladstone has also been charged with stealing, armed robbery in company and enter premises with intent.

All are scheduled to appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court today.
