Get advice on finance, dog training and wellbeing
BACK after a two year absence, the Ipswich Home Show and Outdoor Expo is about a lot more than homewares.
The 2015 show is on from June 20-21 at Ipswich Showgrounds and is set to feature stallholders on everything from pool installation to permanent makeup tattooing.
Organiser Faye Flor said the dynamic stallholders at the 2015 show would include furniture makers, community groups, a gourmet pantry section with liquorice and exotic lollies, health and wellbeing and even a pet section.
She said the show also had a focus on finance, with plenty of advisors on property or share market investment, superannuation and borrowing set to take part in the show.
Children can also come along to meet Mootilda, the performing mascot for online grocery store Aussie Farmers Direct.
Mini Galloway cows will also feature in the show and dog owners can speak to knowledgeable trainers on how best to train their pooches.
"We've also got a few talented people displaying their crafts," Mrs Flor said.
She said Ipswich favourite's Riversands Vineyards was one of two wineries alongside Wine Selectors putting on tastings at the show.
"They're back again this year with all their samples," she said.
Other stallholders to look out for include body wrapping, a denture clinic, attic ladders, solar power installers and Kitchen Connection with the latest range of ultimate kitchens.
Builders GM Homes will also offer the chance to win a brand new kitchen.
The 2015 Ipswich Home Show and Outdoor Expo will be held across June 20-21 at Ipswich Showgrounds from 9am-5pm both days.
Tickets to the show are $5 for adults at the door and $4 for concession card holders, while children under the age of 14 get free entry.
