Ipswich to hear story of St Jude

IPSWICH residents can be inspired by the story of Tanzania's School of St Jude at a presentation on Wednesday, March 14.

Kim Saville, the Deputy Director of the school, will visit Ipswich to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the school.

West Moreton Anglican College will host a free community event from 6.30pm in the Multipurpose Hall, and attendees can hear of the school's journey direct from Ms Saville.

The school currently educates more than 1,500 of the country's brightest students from its poorest areas.

The event has been jointly organised by the Karana Downs Rotary Club and West Moreton Anglican College and is free for guests to attend.

Seats can be booked by emailing events@wmac.com.au.
